Un fine settimana intenso ed emozionante studiato appositamente per chi parte dal centro Blurent di Acerra. Il percorso si snoda verso sud lungo la costa tirrenica, toccando due dei siti archeologici più famosi al mondo. Il venerdì sera si apre con l'arrivo a Pompei, a cui è dedicata l'intera mattinata di sabato per esplorare le sue storiche strade romane. Il viaggio prosegue poi verso la Piana del Sele per una sosta gastronomica a base di mozzarella di bufala, per poi raggiungere Paestum e ammirare i suoi maestosi templi greci illuminati. La domenica, dopo la visita culturale al parco archeologico cilentano, si risale verso nord per avvicinarsi alla base, facendo tappa a Caserta. Il lunedì mattina si chiude in bellezza con un ultimo sguardo alla monumentale Reggia, prima del rientro ad Acerra per la riconsegna del mezzo. Un perfetto mix di archeologia, comodità logistiche e piaceri culinari, ottimizzato per i ritmi e le esigenze dei viaggiatori in camper.

- The weekend rate starts at €235 and includes 600 km of travel. The camper will be available for pick-up between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM on Friday and return between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on Monday.

Day 1 – Friday afternoon
The Wonders of Ancient Campania
The journey begins in the afternoon in Acerra. After completing the camper pickup procedures and familiarizing yourself with the vehicle’s dimensions, you’ll immediately hit the road, heading south. Leaving the weekly routine behind, the first stop of the weekend is Pompeii, just over half an hour away. The goal of the evening is to settle in slowly at one of the equipped rest areas near the archaeological site. Once the camper is safely parked, you can enjoy a relaxing stroll through the modern town center, perhaps kicking off the weekend with an excellent local pizza, knowing that the next day, ancient history will be just a stone’s throw away.
Day 2 – Saturday
From Roman roads to Greek temples, with a delicious stop
Saturday morning is entirely dedicated to exploring the Pompeii Archaeological Park. Entering the gates early, you’ll walk along the original paving of the ancient Roman streets, exploring domus, shops, and theaters before the day’s crowds arrive. After a morning filled with wonder, you’ll return to the camper for a quick lunch and a moment of relaxation before getting back on the road. The journey continues towards the Piana del Sele: along the road to Paestum, a stop at one of the area’s renowned dairies is a must to stock up on the freshest DOP buffalo mozzarella from Campania. Arriving in Paestum in the late afternoon, we settle in near the archaeological site. The evening offers a magical atmosphere, with the silhouettes of the majestic illuminated Greek temples silhouetted against the night sky.
Day 3 – Sunday
The charm of Magna Graecia and the approach to Caserta
Sunday begins with a focus on classical culture, with a close-up visit to the Paestum Archaeological Park and its museum, where the three Doric temples—among the best-preserved in the world—are breathtaking in their grandeur. After a typical lunch of Cilento specialties, in the early afternoon we’ll start the engine again to begin the ascent north. The journey takes about an hour and a half to Caserta. Once we arrive at our destination and park the camper in the rest area, the late afternoon offers the perfect opportunity to explore the city center or climb up to the charming medieval village of Casertavecchia, enjoying a final evening of freedom aboard the vehicle.
Day 4 – Monday
A final royal glance and the return to base
Monday morning flies by, but it offers one last, unforgettable postcard. Before heading to the rental center, we make a brief panoramic stop in front of the majestic façade of the Royal Palace of Caserta to take some souvenir photos in Piazza Carlo di Borbone. From there, it’s just a twenty-minute drive back to Acerra. Once the camper has been unloaded and cleaned, we return it by 10:00 a.m., concluding a fulfilling weekend filled with history, comfort, and timeless beauty.
