Sunny spring weekends are approaching, and you don’t know where to go?
We at Blurent have you covered with short or long itinerary options, so you can take advantage of all our offers:
Day 1 – Friday afternoon
La Morra and Verduno
Leaving from the Blurent Genola center, head towards the Langhe hills. The first stop is La Morra, one of the most picturesque panoramic spots in the area. It’s worth stopping here for a stroll through the historic center and, weather permitting, a tasting at a local winery. The truly magical moment comes at sunset, when the landscape takes on warm hues and offers a truly unforgettable view. In the evening, we continue to Verduno, a more intimate and authentic village, perfect for a relaxed dinner accompanied by a fine glass of Barolo. For the night, you can choose to stay in Verduno, La Morra, or Alba.
Day 2 – Saturday
Alba, Barbaresco, Neive, and Treiso
Saturday begins with a stop in Alba, the elegant and gastronomic heart of the Langhe. Here, you can begin the day with a leisurely breakfast and a stroll through the streets of the historic center, allowing yourself to be tempted, especially in season, by truffles, wine bars, and typical products. We then continue to Barbaresco, where a climb to the panoramic tower offers a privileged view of the surrounding vineyards, followed by a tasting of famous local wines such as Nebbiolo and Barbaresco DOCG. For lunch, Neive is the ideal choice: one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, perfect for a relaxing break among picturesque alleys and excellent cuisine. In the afternoon, stop in Treiso, less touristy and more rugged, ideal for enjoying the silence, the scenery, and some evocative photographs. The day concludes with a return to the Alba or Langhe area for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 – Sunday
Diano d’Alba, Grinzane Cavour, and Barolo
On Sunday, we depart from Diano d’Alba, a small and quiet town with splendid views of the surrounding hills. We then continue to Grinzane Cavour, where the famous castle—a UNESCO World Heritage Site—is home to an interesting wine museum, perfect for learning more about the region’s winemaking culture. The final stop is Barolo, considered the capital of one of the world’s most renowned wines. Here, you can visit the WiMu, the Barolo Museum, and conclude the trip with a tasting, toasting a weekend of beauty, flavor, and discovery.
